Cheerful Sunday (afternoon) - Part 2 24/05/09

After the all the problem that occurs in the morning. I still go for my BE (Biochemistry) gathering at 11am, reach there around 11:30 since i take the SMART tunnel. I thought I could be at least punctual for a day like this, but..... *sigh*. Even though me and Wai May reached there late, it's better late than never. Li Jin restaurant is located at the 6th floor at Pavillion. Since my friend Ah Beh booked the time from 10.30am -12.30pm, we onli have another 45-1 hour of time to eat our breakfast. My ex-coursemates have finished their meal and took some for us before we arrived. It's really been a long time to meet them since i left UTAR (shud be around 1 year).
Back row from the left: Shin Mun, David, Ah Beh, Yee Ling
Front row from left : MF, Wai May, Siew Yeen, Sio Teng and Kiat Ee

Though not all my ex-coursemates are present for that days gathering, these are the friends which are closest to me during the days in UTAR, not to mention the ladies are among the prettiest girls in our class. XD

It's time to critic about the foods (点心) there. For a price of RM28 for 2 hours "dim sum" buffet, i think it's quite fair as the restaurant is in Pavillion. I ate what my frens there took for me such as 虾饺 (prawn dumpling),烧卖 (siu mai),肠粉 (chu cheong fun), and some fried foods, etc.

Siu Mai

Sui Kao???!! (Dunno what is this)
Mixed fried food???

I would take more photos if i got more time, but i am late so i eat more than snapping photos. Although it looks nice in the photos above, yet personally I think "dim sum" anywhere else is much more tasty than Li Jin. Maybe I am still not into the standard of eating high class food yet.. lolx... Perhaps I could do some judging for the "dim sum"s and only for the "dim sum"s coz i haven't tried other foods there....YET.
Rating : 4.5/10

After 12.30pm, we left the restaurant, the long line of customers in waiting for seats in front of Li Jin restaurant amazed me (I was wondering what is the main attraction that we missed since so many ppl are waiting out there). We then head down to the food court, and get a table for a chat without ordering any food or drinks. That's a very enjoyable gathering being able to meet up with them and catch up on some new updates on what's happening to each other. I left at around 2.15pm coz I have another long awaiting Sing K session at Puchong Neway with my secondary schoolmates.

to be continued....
