Busy December...

This is the busiest month for me this year with lots of workload and stuff. With exams during the 1st weekend, outings and shopping for the rest of the weekends. It's tough studying while working and playing at the same time. Nevertheless, there was fun in the midst of all these, what matter most is the management of my time. What I miss most are the animes for the past three weeks (Nyankoi, Natsu no Arashi, Kimi ni todoke, etc).

Yesterday, there were few things that I did for the first time in my life. The first thing, I drove my almost 20 yr old Proton Saga to the speed of 170-180km/h at MEX (Maju Expressway) to Cyberjaya due to my lateness to work and this is the 2nd time I've been late to work. Thankfully my supervisor was not so strict, and it just simply another working day. It's been quite some time I have not left office in time due to insufficient staffs and my wish was granted this week.

Secondly, I went to a bhangra club called Mumbai SE near Heritage Row at KL. That is for the gathering of the same batch of peoples (Jolene aka Jojo, Ross and Audra) who entered ME (Marcus Evans) with me. It was nice meeting with you guys again after so long, even though I feel like i was in a foreign land because no other races was there other than Indians and bhangra??. I am not being racism but just felt kinda strange and a bit awkward....lolz. It was under renovation and there are free flows of drinks until 12AM. Me and Ross had a glass of beer while Jojo and Audra had orange juice. If I knew it was free flow earlier, then I would had more drinks cos we only knew it around 11.30pm... There was a room where there are some bhangra dancers (some are hot and their looks are not bad too) dance and perform to entertain the audiences (mostly middle ages man/woman). P/S: Not 18SX though. We get the chance to enter and watch for a while before leaving for the next club which is 'Space'. It was a nice place if you liked clubbing, with quite some hot chicks to see.

I love to go clubbing again sometime in the future, as I left quite early around 2. There was a Wan Tan Mee stall at Sg. Besi which i rated as one of the best Wan Tan Mee in town. There are varieties such as duck Mee , curry wild boar Mee, etc. It was open at night only as that place was a car workshop during the day. Had my supper there and went home. The next day was really rushed as well as I need to shop at One U, have meeting with my brother in the evening and with friends at night...

Today, it's my birthday (13th NOV)

I know it's kind of dead in this blog, taking a long time until a new post. I don't deny lazy was part of the reason though, since it's long embedded in my body. A lots has happened since the last post whether it's about work, friendship, travels or family. Now I am already 24, yet still without any accomplishment. Speaking of age, I thank the 7 person who've spent their time celebrating my 24th b'day with me at SKybar and for the cake as well .
Celebrating birthday at Skybar at Traders Hotel makes me feel kinda high-class though. It's really a nice place except for the noise level. There's a pool, a KLCC night view, some gals to be looked at, fire dance and pretty expensive food & drinks. At least it is better than club where we can chat and enjoy our drinks together. A glass of red wine each plus some snacks and other alcoholic drinks is enough to kept all of us stayed for 2 hours plus.

It's a bit sad that i don't have a gf to accompany me at this time (since 2 pair of them are couples, 2 singles and one taken by Douglasology), but having these bunch of friends are enough at this stage. I am not that desperate yet, just like lyrics of Arigatou sanged by Tension (...没有女朋友的日子其实也不错, 虽然感觉有点寂寞 ,时间突然变很多...一个人的生活很自由...Do mo arigato 谢谢友情的手...)

About my birthday wish? (probably none of the viewers would be interested in). For those who wanted to know, this should be kept a secret until it is realized.... Hahaha....
SO, That's all for NOW... Chiaoz....

Tiring and satisfied Sunday (evening-night) 24/05/09

Continuing from the previous post, I rush back at 2.10pm from Pavillion as Jia Ming (JM) will fetch me at my home at 2.30pm. Back at home just in time as she also just reached at the same time. After fetching me and Lloyd, three of us depart to Neway at Puchong to meet the rest of the friends, Kian Chuan (KC), Aun Kheng (AK), Yee Yaw (YY), and Sen Foong (SF).
From left:Me, YY, LLoyd, JM, SF, KC and AK

We have booked the 3pm - 7pm session (4 hours) to sing K Once we entered in to the room, the 1st thing I do is selecting song then followed by ordering drinks. We have not gather for a Karaoke session since Chinese New Year, and furthermore Kian Chuan will be leaving to Liverpool next week. I guess the next K session will not be held until September or October. We sang song after songs, but I pulled out my Nikon D60 to take pictures when it's not my turn. I need to get familiarize with the settings to take pictures in a dark room to further polish my photography skills.I have taken alot of pictures but more than half are blurry and unclear.

I starting to get exhausted by 6pm since I was out since morning. The K session ends exactly at 7pm and we decide to have dinner somewhere. Yee Yaw fetch KC back first as he has dinner readied at home, then we went to Star Village restaurant at Kuchai Lama to have dinner. We've each ordered different food and drinks:
Me: a Lamb Shank,
Lloyd: a black pepper chicken,
AK: a Chicken Salad,
SF: a Seafood platter,
YY: a cheese chicken
JM: a Honey Lamb.

The foods are not bad tho, took the pictures as well but not so nice. (Sigh... don't have makro lense T.T)

After the dinner, me and Lloyd went separate ways with the rest as we have another Catan game session with Gabriel, Sheng Wa and Khian Foo. I was totally exhausted so I din play at all, just waiting for them to finished and send me home. By 11.30pm i reach home, quickly get a bath and go to sleep without any delay.ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz....

Cheerful Sunday (afternoon) - Part 2 24/05/09

After the all the problem that occurs in the morning. I still go for my BE (Biochemistry) gathering at 11am, reach there around 11:30 since i take the SMART tunnel. I thought I could be at least punctual for a day like this, but..... *sigh*. Even though me and Wai May reached there late, it's better late than never. Li Jin restaurant is located at the 6th floor at Pavillion. Since my friend Ah Beh booked the time from 10.30am -12.30pm, we onli have another 45-1 hour of time to eat our breakfast. My ex-coursemates have finished their meal and took some for us before we arrived. It's really been a long time to meet them since i left UTAR (shud be around 1 year).
Back row from the left: Shin Mun, David, Ah Beh, Yee Ling
Front row from left : MF, Wai May, Siew Yeen, Sio Teng and Kiat Ee

Though not all my ex-coursemates are present for that days gathering, these are the friends which are closest to me during the days in UTAR, not to mention the ladies are among the prettiest girls in our class. XD

It's time to critic about the foods (点心) there. For a price of RM28 for 2 hours "dim sum" buffet, i think it's quite fair as the restaurant is in Pavillion. I ate what my frens there took for me such as 虾饺 (prawn dumpling),烧卖 (siu mai),肠粉 (chu cheong fun), and some fried foods, etc.
Har KaO
Siu Mai

Sui Kao???!! (Dunno what is this)
Mixed fried food???

I would take more photos if i got more time, but i am late so i eat more than snapping photos. Although it looks nice in the photos above, yet personally I think "dim sum" anywhere else is much more tasty than Li Jin. Maybe I am still not into the standard of eating high class food yet.. lolx... Perhaps I could do some judging for the "dim sum"s and only for the "dim sum"s coz i haven't tried other foods there....YET.
Rating : 4.5/10

After 12.30pm, we left the restaurant, the long line of customers in waiting for seats in front of Li Jin restaurant amazed me (I was wondering what is the main attraction that we missed since so many ppl are waiting out there). We then head down to the food court, and get a table for a chat without ordering any food or drinks. That's a very enjoyable gathering being able to meet up with them and catch up on some new updates on what's happening to each other. I left at around 2.15pm coz I have another long awaiting Sing K session at Puchong Neway with my secondary schoolmates.

Gloomy Sunday (morning)- Part 1 24.05.09

<--- My car This day is the day with a full day of happy activities, a gathering with my Ex-Uni coursemates at Li Jin restaurant @ Pavillion at 10.30am, but it begins with a bad morning where my car banged by a Nissan Sentra. As early as 10am++, I was fetching my friend Wai May at Salak South and the car move out suddenly from the junction where it was supposed to be stopped. I was going the straight road and passing the junction when it moved out, thus trying to avoid the collision and horn the car was my 1st reaction. It bang straight in the middle of the passenger and back side door. The door then was unable to open or close.

Opposition's car--->
Me, my friend and the driver, a middle age woman with a child (3-4 yrs old) in the car parked aside, came down and . She looked very worried and nervous after the crash, and i quickly take my DSLR to take pics of the damages (Dang, that's not my intention of bring my DSLR out for that day). I dunno to settle the situation, thank god my friend See Yeong live around the corner and he helped me throughout the conversation. (I wanna apologize to him since i woke him up from his sleep). The woman who drove his husband's car was very nervous and not sure what she shud do. What I remember most is when she say "I was stopping at the junction, I dunno y the car moved forward". Walao, like tat oso she can say..... She also live nearby so she asked us to follow her to her house and discuss with her husband. At the end, the owner of the Nissan agreed to compensate for the damage since his wife was at fault for banging my car. And also recommend that we fix the car at the workshop he knew the next morning since no mechanics open on Sunday.

(I need to work on the next day, Monday so my mom bring the car there, meet them and discuss about the damage. Then the woman drive my mom back since my the car was left in the mechanics. It was more ridiculous when the woman told my mom that I bang her in that incident. WTH.... )

After everything is settled, i drive my Saga back home and being scold by my mom even though it's not my fault. It was 11.00am, me and my friend Wai May was late for the gathering so I borrow my Aunt's Myvi and reached Li Jin at 11.40am. As for the gathering, I will blog in my next post lar...

P/S: I hope this accident didn't scared Wai May too much or left her any trauma la since she was at the passenger seat when it occurred. Really sorry for what happen that day

Moody Friday 22/05/09

I am still not good a posting a blog, so don't mind me being emo sometimes.Lol

The day started well yesterday and the work stress didn't really get me too much until my lunch time. It was as usual i skipped my lunch or just bought a bread to fill my stomach just to have an hour of online time during my lunch break. Using meebo, i chat with my good friend as usual and have an argument that very day regarding to the picture tagging application in facebook.

I've taken a few pictures the day before, trying my D60 at The Little Tree cafe on how we enjoy playing a board game "Die Siedler von Catan" and upload it to facebook and tag my friends, and he claims that those pics destroy his reputation, violates his privacy and he looks like he was in a candid picture. OMG, how was a pic of him with a bunch of friends showing how enjoyable the game is when playing would destroy his reputation?? It's not that i've taken the pictures secretly or of any embarassing act. Other than that, the picture is blurry due to my lack of experience with the camera and yet it's a another problem to him. If you don't want me to upload and post the pictures, tell me before or after I take your pictures.

Another frustration cause is being asked to change myself. Why should I change when I think I am happy with my lifestyle. I believe a changes in a person is greatly affected by environment and on the person himself. I will change myself when I think I need it or I change under subconcious depending on situation I am in. I want ppl respect me for who I am and not change me for not being what they expect me to be. I take the grasp of my own life, thinking and path I chose to walk.

Half of my day is in bad mood, and i still have to work until 8pm... Well, had make plan to watch movie at GSC Mid-Valley that nite with Lloyd and Khai Hung. There are two movies that I wanted to watch that day, I Corrupt All Cops (ICAC) , or Night at the Museum 2. Never once watching Monsters vs Aliens cross my mind since it sounds kinda 'stupid' but we ended up watching this movie since ICAC only left the front row and Lloyd doesn't wan to watch Nite at Museum. Surprisingly this 90 minutes movie is damn funny with unexpected plots which makes u laugh and all my bad mood was lifted off. Laughter is the best medicine to make us feel better.

The beginning or the end??

I wonder how many years have past since i posted a blog. And here i come, once again to the world of blogging. I hope i can continue to update long enough with the drive i have now, the Nikon D60 DSLR. The entry level machine that costs me around RM2k, which drains my wallet dry to the max. The package cames with a camera, a NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lense (although i still barely know wat that means), a tripod, and a 4GB memory card.

The Jack In the box
And the journey starts on Saturday 16/05/09,

The fine design
I still needs time to master the trick of photography and manual book is just the beginning. The next thing i am waiting for is for Gabriel to get his DSLR and Kar Sang to be back in KL so that we can explore the world of photography together. I will take pics of random place and things around wherever i go as a starting point. Just hopefully i got enough time balance from my work and my life.
